Designed as a three-piece coastal ensemble, The Abalone Shoreline anchors a space with history and light. The main table features an island of 200-year-old California mission olive wood, edged by a churning coastline of whole New Zealand abalone (pāua) shells beneath a frothing resin surf. Completing the set, two companion side tables capture the essence of shallow tide pools with dense mosaics of suspended abalone fragments. Together, the trio balances two centuries of terrestrial heritage with the vibrant, shimmering light of the ocean floor.
Born from two centuries of quiet history and the untamed energy of the Pacific, Tideborne Haven captures a sanctuary carved by time and tide. At its heart lies ancient California olive wood—originally rooted along the historic mission coastline over 200 years ago—reimagined as a secluded, sun-drenched island. Surrounding these golden, deeply textured burls are luminous surge waves infused with iridescent New Zealand abalone, echoing the vibrant, hidden life of ocean reefs.
